Due to cars driving by every so often I had to composite this shot together. I took an exposure of the road first then the milky way off of the road to avoid getting hit by a car at night lol

I love this nursery. This old chevy truck has been there for years. It's beautiful in the fall. Always filled with flowers except for snow in the winter. :) I think this truck (according to a male friend) is circa 1938!

The second version (I believe, with the push button 'on' switch) of the non-TTL Photomic finder on its Nikon 'F'. The camera works flawlessly, though needs a fresh mirror bumper, which I'm doing this afternoon. The meters in these degrade over time and usually don't work, or don't work well. I am waiting on fresh batteries and we will see. We don't need fancy-schmancy in camera meters anyway, right?
We are missing, until I find it, the finder's telephoto attachment.

So because I have an apparent mice problem that wakes me up at 5a every morning, I was wide awake the morning of #juno. I decided it was time to take a frustrated walk, bundled up, and grabbed my camera.
And let me tell you, NYC sure looks/sounds/feels really cool when there's literally no one else on the street and snow is falling just hard enough that it gets blurred out of a long exposure. :D
And now, I know what a public pool looks like filled with snow, at 5a, in the middle of winter. #socool
