First trials with long-exposure-night-shots. - I can't believe what my camera is able to do - such great effects! So I will be out for practising again as soon as possible. :)
For everyone who's interested: These are parts of the fountain in front of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University - quite in the center of Munich.

another candid from our flickr meetup. we came upon this amazing "community garden". just as we arrived, 2 of the caretakers drove up, ready to do some planting. they were so kind to let us in, and snap away. they told us all about their process and how much it meant to their small community, right in the middle of the city, to get to grow fruits and vegetables.
cristin in her OWN right, is an amazing gardener. she could name almost every plant, vegetable and fruit in there. i was in awe. she truly has a green thumb, and i learned SO much that day (about more than just photography.)

Sorry for being gone for so long, my friends.....I have been extremely busy with work, work-related activities on the weekends and getting ready for another 3-day Conference (....for work) out of town later this week. Once I leave, I won't have internet access until I get back.
Anyway, the weather is now finally getting cooler and my flip-flops just weren't cutting it anymore (COLD toes!) so I went shopping!

The crescent was so bright that it was making a reflection of itself in the predawn light. I thought that was so cool.
