Truong Bich Huyen born in 1999, 15 yrs old, children with disabilities in Dong Thap Province, she was born disfigured with the skin disease. Huyen’s mother, used to work as military nurse in the area affected by Agent Orange during the war with the United States. Huyen's monther was born with a skin condition which her father said was because of exposure to dioxins. Her skin on her foot is discolored and bleeds. Huyen's mother has to take medicine regularly. Her foot still causes her a lot of pain.
Social work service center, supported by UNICEF from province level came to assess the difficulties and needs in 2013. They decided to provide more targeted support for Huyen such as regular access to health care, education. After the social work service center came, Huyen was brought to a specialized hospital in HCMC for treatment. Local TV Programme is called Nhip Cau Nhan Ai (Charity/humanity bridge) helped raised 42 millions VND from HCMC and 30 millions was spent for Huyen's treatment. Huyen continues to receive medical treatment monthly, Social workers came regularly, child protection officers paid regular visits to provide counselling, and teach us how to care for Huyen.

On June 29, Secretary Denis McDonough completed nearly a week-long trip through Colorado and New Mexico. During his travels, which began on June 23, he visited VA facilities, a Denver-area Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, a University of New Mexico campus in Gallup, and an Indian Health Service Medical Center also in Gallup.
In addition to visiting with VA leadership and staff to get a sense of how care and services are being provided, he talked with Veterans at two Veteran townhalls - one in Denver and one in Gallup, a Denver Pride event, and an event that recognized the Navajo Nation as the first Tribal nation to qualify to host Veteran service officers to assist Veterans with benefit and pension claims.
