Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is Friday !!!! And it is also a blue day at Color my World Daily. And at the fabulous Looking Close on Friday the theme is soap bar.

Once again I must admit that I’m not a fancy soap bar person. We usually use Dove or whatever I will buy at our local drugstore. BUT wait… I’m also a hoarder so I have lots of stuff everywhere and guess what ? I had this fancy soaps bars set in my linen chest. It was sitting there for ever and waiting for this theme.

The soaps are handmade by a small local soap shop. Actually I’m pretty much sure they make the soaps bar in their garage …. I got the set as a gift and the soaps have an amazing smell so I put them in my linen chest. The one you see in the picture is peppermint and eucalyptus and apparently it is very good against wrinkles… but it also looks like a foamy wave …So it is a perfect soap bar for sailing far, far away in a small red paper boat…The waves are so high, we sure will feel tiny…

The subject is part of an organic composite soap with soap bubbles. Back lighted with natural sunlight and reflected light with a piece of white A4 paper on the bubbles.

Soap bubbles in a wine glass.

MM theme: "Soap"

For today's theme I chose macaroon-shaped soaps. We have an artist in town who makes pastry-shaped soap creations. I chose the Morello cherry, Crunchy Nougat and Caramel and salted butter scents.

The soaps are approximately 2.5 cm in diameter.

Handmade peach, honey, rosehips and oatmeal scrub small soap. The smell is amazing and a great addition for the care of the face! I used a red roses background for the photo and the shape of the soap is a flower and the full soap measures about 2" wide and 1" height.
