My buddy Scout in our front yard today, enjoying a romp in the snow.
The Hilton Brighton Metropole is a 4-star hotel and conference centre located on the seafront in Brighton, East Sussex.
The architect was Alfred Waterhouse, who also was architect of University College London and the Natural History Museum.
Currently the UK's largest residential conference centre, it was built in 1890 and has 340 bedrooms.
Adapting to the snow with the webbed feet.

Das Wochenende war eine echte Herausforderung für die Kamera. Besonders am Samstag schneite es doch recht unangenehm. Sie scheint wasserdicht zu sein ;)

This weekend was a challenge for the cam because of the heavy snowfall.

The original scan is a little flat, so this is the tweaked version.
After a long, snowy drive from Grand Canyon, I pulled into the Monument Valley parking area hoping to get a shot of rock formations in the snow. No luck. Instead, I was greeted by three bounding, furry beasts eager to play in the snow. Which we did, until this one heard a noise below and sat still long enough (one second) for this shot. The next day, a Navajo guide told me they look after these wolf-husky hybrids.
