Enough snow to close the south until it gets cleaned up enough snow to give us a nice layer of fresh powder for our snow machines.
One of my furgrandchildren, Rhiannon, romping and playing in the snow last March. You can see how happy she was!! We were all in bliss actually :) The snow was falling pretty hard at this point!! Since we rarely have snow, I forgot my camera has a setting to take pictures in the snow...sigh.

Drago and Dozer in a rare unmoving moment. Actually Dozer was starting to turn his head so his snout is blurry.
Dogs love snow. But, why do dogs love snow so much? Well, many dogs love snow in the way that a toddler loves snow -- it’s simply fun to play with.
This is Falcon and he is a very large Alaskan Malamute. If you've ever had a Malamute, you will know what I mean. They are so beautiful and good natured and full of love. Usually, the first thing people ask my wife and I about him is: "Is he a movie dog? He looks like White Fang." All he has to do is shake himself and he looks like that. I feel privileged to know him.
Bailey taking a breather in the winter sun, on top of a snowbank that is usually a road, after the second of several huge snowstorms we had in Boston between late January and late February of this year. We ended up getting about eleven feet (3.35 meters) total, and there was about five feet on the ground when I took this shot. This year broke all Boston snowfall records, and it broke the city's mass transit system (the "T"), as well, bringing the city to a total standstill for a number of days on several occasions. But Bailey? Well, he thought it was the greatest thing in the world.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

''Light thinks it travels faster than anything, but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.“ - Yousef Karsh, CC of Ottawa
A better title may be - When what you envision fails. Yes, that was supposed to be a dog made out of snow, but ended up looking more like a teddy bear - I don't think I'll pursue a career in sculpting.
And once again Darla doesn't look too happy - seems like I'd better stick to more candid shots of her this year.
