Someone's Friday, long weekend (and car) were ruined.

Highway 401 eastbound approaching Brock Road in Pickering, Ontario.

Huge seas pounding into the harbour pier at Wick. Freakily powerful waves rolling into the bay, overcoming breakwater and the high sided pier.

This one was totally smashed in pieces, but man what a beautiful ceiling, it almost looked like a honeycomb pattern

Three frames through a smashed panel of glass in a London phonebox, each treated a little differently for fun and aesthetic pleasing-ness.

I'm reading Smashed: Story of a Drunken Girlhood by Koren Zailckas and it's disturbing me. I hate seeing people piss their lives away. I'll probably finish this book tonight and I'll be disgusted if she doesn't sober up by the end of it. She's been hospitalized for alcohol poisoning, blackout drunk so often it's becoming a weekly thing, dumped by countless people close to her and raped at a frat party. After all that, you'd think drinking was no longer fun, cool, interesting, or even a damn option for her anymore. But so far she's just kept on seeking out every opportunity to get blind drunk. It's getting on my nerves.

I created this image to vent my frustration. It's two photos. I smashed a bottle of rum with a hammer in one pic, I'm under water in the bathtub in the other photo. I edited my hair color because the green half looked swampy when it was underwater .

When light comes through clouds to hit the snowed cliffs.

This image was shot close to Casterino, in Mercantour (french Alps).

I like the curves and channels here as the water recedes before storming in again. It was actually rather gentle that day. I went down there this morning for a walk and the whole area I've been posting from was not only under water but was being absolutely smashed by huge waves. It was pretty damn cool actually.

Here at Arriva Depot Bangor is the Smashed Arriva Wright Pulsar that collided with a car last month

Bad news guys! Judy and Mystic borrowed Mystic's parents brand new camper while they are on vacation. Well one beer led to another keg and they accidentally crashed it. It's gonna take lots of $$ to fix and time is of the essence! If her parents come home and find out Mystic is acting up again, they're likely to tattle to the girls probation officers. Her parents have NO chill. So to raise money Mystic is having a special 2 for 1 sale on any pill! Meanwhile Judy is selling her expired/discontinued food and drink collection. If you've been craving a Zima and some Dunkaroos, call her! Also if you know anyone who is hiring and doesn't do background checks let the girls know.

Pano of smashed windows.

More smashed vehicles.

Today i had my first part of my shingles booked so we walked the girls in the nearby woods. It was extremely muddy and slippery so even though it wasn't the longest of walks it was still hard work. So anyway just a couple of images for today.

Almost a month after the Pumpkin Festival at Cal-Poly, Pomona, there are still quite a few pumpkins in the field. The ones in the foreground have smashed during a plowing session.

Our Daily Challenge - When Life Gives You Lemons

My grandson neglected to put the Wii controller around his wrist while playing Wii Sports Bowling. So...SMASH!

Not sure I can turn this experience from "lemons" to "lemonade" for the challenge. I think it's just "lemons".

Just got back my film pics from the last DFW Flickr meetup. Better than what I remember of 110 film, no doubt due to having a decent glass lens in front of it. Minor curves adjust, a slight crop, resize & resharpen was all I did to this one.

lunch. forgot the olives (and the smashing) but it was still delicious.

Smashed shell from my old collection. Despite the destruction, I loved the patterns on it. I used channel swap (Red-Blue) here and it didn't affect the stripes much actually. I think the shell is about 1cm in diameter.

This one's just a real simple outline, tons of cracks, cuts and breaks...Job done. Big shouts 3dom, Amuk and Onion.
