It was my first time at Denbigh Asylum today! A truly fantastic place to take pictures. Unfortunately I did not get as much as I hoped I'd get. But there's always a next time! Hopefully will be soon
And if we're through, I'll still think of you
But I can't switch off and on like you do
We crash like smashed pianos
I wish I didn't care like I do
There's a story in here somewhere.
A van parked outside the Salvation Army in Mare Street, Hackney.
There is some smashed glass on the road at the back of the van.
And a hole in the window of the van.
And a man standing there too.
We came out from dinner last night to find the window smashed and my messenger bag gone. In it was the stuff I shuttle back and forth to work: my lunchbox,my Leatherman tool, a small flashlight, and various papers, pens, and pencils. I also had my Eka Swede 60 knife, an old Pentax ME Super film camera with a 50 f1.7 mounted, and I had the little APS film camera I've used most recently as a bike camera, on which I wanted to finish the roll but wasn't getting inspired by it. Digitally, I had brought my Canon G11 that day, but I decided to bring it into the restaurant, so all they got was a small empty case with a spare battery and memory card. That messenger bag was just too big...I've got to carry less stuff.
On the left you can see it smashed down, this could mean there was come sort of animal that crossed the creek not too long ago...
As seen on natureswallpaper.blogspot.com
Boat smashed in two by hurricane Dean. Old Harbour Bay, Jamaica.
My pictures crashed with my son's laptop. These were taken by my 10 y.o. daughter.
One of my students showed me this after he has tried to drill a hole in his casing for a project without taking the arduino out beforehand...
Liz and I went down the street to a corn field that was just cut down. The whole day was over cast except for this one hour... It all turned out great... Unfortuantly it was a bit wet and muddy.
I'm supposed to say how brave my kid is. She was helping us put away the groceries and came howling into the kitchen becasue she'd smashed her finger in the closet door. It was this color even before we got any ice on it and seemed to be bothering her for a while.
(She ultimately lost half the nail, which you can see here.)
Some thieves wanted to steal my partner's car, I didn't want them to.
There was a brief, one sided, and very unpleasant discussion that resulted in the car I was driving being smashed up and necessitating the purchase of the Corolla seen elsewhere.
You could quite easily enter this buiding and look around for yourself, if you wished. British health and safety officials would have an embolism.
Sitting room window and car windscreen got, as we say in Fife, panned in!
A drunk decided it was the time for such antics.
Me, not happy! Moving home and this is NOT what I need on the last day of the move.
BJ's glass picnic table was a victim of the tree falling down (but that is a small loss when compared to the house and car). 6/23/2006; Newport News, Virginia
5/26/14. CRAP! Went out to my car this morning to find two smashed windows in the car inside the carport. Nothing missing or riffled through...just two smashed windows.
Typhoon Souledor hit Taiwan on August 9th and left at least 6 people dead. This was the biggest typhoon to hit Taiwan in a long time and left a huge amount of damage in Kaohsiung. On Sunday I ventured out and took these photos while walking the dog.
Surprisingly, they have just righted the banyan. Hopefully it survives the typhoon that is due to hit tomorrow!
