Carmen is a Jack Russell Terrier & Chihuahua mix. She has many toys, as seen in the Bg., but this toy was given to her by a very kind individual who came across Carmen one day. She loves this squeaky toy as her most favorite one.
Aika is a six years old Yorkshire Terrier living in the Swiss Alps and one of the best DogDancers I know!

This is Chewie, aka Chewbacca, who I met in the supermarket today. His owner and I got chatting in the pet food aisle whilst he just lay down and looked cute
Came across these pretty dogs while wandering around town. Would have liked to have got down on their level but I would have been trampled from fellow wanderers, and no photo is worth that.
We've had record heat here in Portland this past week. I've really had to limit Molly's run around the garden. Early morning is the best and the rest of the day I try and keep her cool and comfortable. We're finally getting out of the 90's this coming weekend!

Last weekend we drove up to Willits to ride the historical California Western Railroad, also known as the Skunk Train. Except for the diesel fumes it was not smelly though. The train has two regular cars and an open deck car with no seats. We mainly stayed in the open deck car while riding through the woods. Dogs were allowed but had to get a ticket.
I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, merged them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and partially reduced the color saturation. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Sugar is a sweet dog and is in her middle age at least. She was uprooted from a forever home due to their family having an emergency. This also caused her to be separated from her brother. We are trying to mend these traumas, but it will take more time.

The original image was such that she was silhouetted against the background with no detail apparent. One helluva lot of work later in the Afterlight app made it into what you see now.
This lady seemed to be rather pensive but she was sitting quietly in a bit of sunshine hugging her adorable little white dog. You could tell their was a lot of love between them.
Went to a dog show at a local church in a suburb of Montreal where one could adopt dogs of all kinds. This real little 3 month old cutie was NOT up for adoption; the lady owner was there just to see the dogs, but he was the show stopper. NO she said, I will not part with him.
I think she would have had a lot of takers!
This little sweetheart is probably fourteen now and has a couple of chronic health issues. We care for her with the best vet care and our love.
