Cooper trooper... my sister wanted more photos of him edited, so I thought I'd post one... especially since everyone said he looked so sad in this one!
Happy Saturday !
My roommate's friends brought over their gentle dogs on their way to travel to fun places this weekend.
Playing around with my LG Escape 2 cellphone this morning while waiting for Donna to finish some light shopping. Ritzy, needing a haircut, was just looking good. I grabbed some quick shots and fixed them up on PhotoToaster.

once of the nice things about working in a beautiful downtown community is the endless photo ops.

Once Again... an homage to Small Dogs- though I didn't think of it until I actually saw the photo. I actually was thinking how many foot photos there are in Explore! Have you ever noticed that? So I thought I would try a bunch of foots and flower closeups and see what happened.
But generally I prefer smalldogs photos to anything on Explore so I think I'll just stick with Homage to SmallDogs:
Well, these two were happy to have their picture taken and gave and had a friendly grin while waiting for someone outside the store to come back out.
open the black box last,
the note says.
i find it under christmas gifts,
temporary tattoos,
sparkly pink mirror,
dancing skeleton dogtag --
day-of-the-dead trinkets
sent from the city of angels.
i finally find the box,
small metal vial in a black velvet bag.
a hasty scrawl explains:
sitting in your hand
are gracie's ashes.
susan's sent her smalldog
on a cross-country trip,
last stop, cold spring.
i shake the vial gently
and hear the happy barks
of a bone-tired traveler,
eager to go running
in the woods behind my house.
My Vet occasionally takes in dogs, either found stray or owner-surrendered. I try to take pictures of the animals up for adoptions, as it is proven that better pictures go a long way towards swift adoption.
As of the posting of this (January 30, 2016), Patches and Rascal here are up for adoption as a pair. Contact Kingston Road Animal Hospital in East York, Toronto.
