All of my Chihuahuas have been "working breed", in the sense that they have accompanied me to my various jobs, starting with Perlita in 1993: I got her on a Saturday, and on Monday we went to work. At times I have brought three Chis with me to the office. I can't imagine going somewhere every day and not bringing them; I have turned down job offers at places where dogs were not allowed. Co-workers and employers also enjoy the dog-time, and my pups make the rounds of laps (and licking noses). Here's Pico in the sheet metal shop - Berkeley, CA - March 2016

I had the dogs out in the backyard. Toby came to the door, ready to come in. I was able to snap a photo of him standing. As I got closer to the door, he was on all fours, and looking at me! Ready to come in and get fed. Gracie and Dylan came up behind him in a minute! 🐶💕🐶💕

This little white lump is proof that "cuteness can cover all sins" (mainly the sin of biting slippers!).

visiting my friend denise's pad this past weekend, i immediately fell in love with her dining set -- and knew i had to shoot it (and 6WS it) in honor of this shot by smalldogs. i mean, for the vanilla tones alone....

The elevator opens and 2 dogs look at each other. One outside and the other inside. At the moment our huge apartment building has only 1 elevator!

Saco, ME My friend's little dog

This tiny little guy is super friendly. I put my hand under his mouth and got licked a lot! At nineteen he is living on borrowed time, but I hope he makes it past twenty. Met Pierre at Kaiser Permanente’s Glenlake Facility in Sandy Springs, GA.

"Boss" wears white pajamas all day, his main job is to eat, sleep and... watch us clean up the "battlefield".

They do love each other, but not as much as I love them.

My Vet occasionally takes in dogs, either found stray or owner-surrendered. I try to take pictures of the animals up for adoptions, as it is proven that better pictures go a long way towards swift adoption.

I visited the beach yesterday and realized two things. First, I need to buy a new swim suit. Second, Bebe has never been to the beach. The other day we visited the local creek and as we were walking along the creek a boat flashed by and created a wake. Bebe jumped enthusiastically and barked at the crashing waves. I think she would enjoy the beach.

this is the 2nd one of the cute doggy on Queensday

they are best buds. well not really sure about that but they seem to get along ok . jaxx is super needy , always has to be sitting on your lap. hes a 22 pound lap dog. he loves cuddling. and we are still working on car rides. he whines the entire time this high pitched whine bark. any suggestions on how to fix this?

Damn she's cute. I cannot name her. If I name her, she stays. So for now, she is just "Puppy."

Little Izzy is another one of those little dogs who think they're big. She's full of personality. She's the smallest in this household of four dogs but she doesn't know it. =) She's one of my faves. Love her!
