I Think this is a mini Terrier and is a neighbour's dog who we see all the time braving the cold with his little plaid coat.
Choco on the left, sometimes sleeps with his eyes open. Yoda just snores!!! Two of my five fur babies....and I can see Choco needs his nails cut, which is an operation that I leave to the vet as I hate doing it....and so does he!!
This Sheltie was one of a pair that a lady was walking by the Ocean Walk area of the local Park. He just wanted to continue to frolic on the park lawn and made it very plain to her that he was not ready to go home!
We're at the one month mark with this sweet boy Rexy and all is well. During his first few days with us, he was comfortable with the camera and then he withdrew for a few weeks and he was totally not into it.
He was ready for another photo shoot this afternoon (with treats of course!) on the bed. Good news!! In the majority of the shots, he has an unsure look in his eyes that we notice each day. I imagine how terribly he's missing his original family, parents, mom or dad and wonders if he'll ever find them again. It makes me sad for him, but I know in time he'll find his groove and a new mama in me. Out of about 100 frames, he looks the most relaxed in this one, with a sprinkle of trust... SO .IN. LOVE with my little TT.

The air is cold & crisp today. My chihuahuas like to stay warm, so I made them a cuddle cave that they seem rather pleased with. Ella likes to keep her head out so she can keep an eye on what's going on. Duke on the other hand is curled up without a care in the world (yes, he is in there too!) Hoping this giant blizzard that's supposed to hit the East Coast this weekend misses us. With the temperatures dropping, there will be many more cuddle caves to come!
Canada Day, July 1, 2021 brought more people outside for a walk as seen with this dog in tow behind his/her owner. Not many celebrations were held due to the sad findings of Indigenous gravesides, mostly of children. The holiday was therefore not celebrated as normal. I loved the way the dog looked backwards at me taking his photo!

The Read Shop is my favorite place for coffee and pastries. They also have a great selection of books to buy. Their main barista, Justin, was there today and he brought a real treat. This incredibly appealing Corgi. What a sweet and precious little puppy. I fell immediately in love!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a photograph, so I gonna make it up to all of you with a lot of previous unposted content! Hope you have an amazing day today and stay healthy and stay safe!
Thanks to hanabi-san for the inspiration!

This little male Labrador puppy was riding in the grocery cart with his owner, holding on to a cuddly toy. Everywhere this dog was seen, people stopped to admire and pet him. I have never seen such a little cutie! You can hardly resist those little blue eyes looking at you with so much appeal.
