Lucy is my parents Dapple Dachshund. I like how puppyish she looks in this picture. She is a sweet girl. She was intently watching my mom's every action.
My brother David and his min-pin Jack.
Jack was racing around the yard, chased by the 5 Cairn Terrier pups.
We should have called this one "day dress" instead of "nightgown". I put it on her this morning and she stayed in it all day. Oh well, I have days when I would love to stay in my pjs all day too.
FYI: Sunday was Susan's (smalldogs) birthday.
JennyMoto here is my buddy Rich's dog. We rode across the lake together on the way back home from fishing on Monday, and as I was shooting this, I did think of her and how she would shoot Jenny. Still, this one's not nearly as freaking good as her stuff. No way. Not even close. But I'm learnin'. : )
I posted this (below) in a group her and I are in together a little bit ago when we were asked to give three thoughts about the person who posted in front of us. It feels fitting to share this on her birthday, even belatedly... More people should know this about her. : )
1. The first thing I need to say about Susan is the most important thing, to me at least. She's a good person. I mean that. You can see it in her posts, her comments and her work alike. She has a big heart and believes wholeheartedly in the power of women. (Which I agree with, btw. Women hold all the power in this world, they just choose not to execute it. heh.) [That opinion is not just a joke, btw.]
2. Susan fights for the things she believes in and against the things she doesn't. She stands up for her principles, and I think that makes her even more great. : ) Plus, her and I have the mutual agreement that anytime we wanna drop an F-Bomb in each other's comments that neither of us will think any different of one another. Sometimes, you just gotta. Ya know, like to say that she's f*ing funny and doesn't take her shit too seriously.
Respect. : )
3. Lastly, and least important to me, personally, but important nonetheless is that at she is one of THE most talented photographers I have "met" on here. Seriously. She has an exquisite eye for portraitures and in the use of light in landscapes and portraits alike. Plus, she threw her buying a Hasselblad right past Mr. Smalldogs and he didn't even blink.
That's greatness. : D
So, if you don't know Susan... You should. Life gets more fun when you do. : )
Happy, happy, happy day to one of my inspirations whenever I pick up my camera, no shit. :-)
Jenny and I say we hope your day was more awesome than not. : D
alright smalldogs, heres the floor of my bathroom.
I took the previous toilet/bathroom shot knowing that someone, most likely smalldogs would comment on the floor.
hah! I was prepared (c:
These are, what I'm assuming to be, the original tiles in the bathroom from when my building was originally constructed. I'm normally not a fan of old fashioned styles and would in fact prefer the marble tiles my building is installing (at some point....right....), but these are nice. I like the pattern and the design they make. call me nuts.
This is Lindsay's stare before she jumps Bison. It's hilarious to watch her take a moment, be still, and plot how she's going to jump her big brother.
