This is the funniest and craziest hunt we've ever done! During the hunt, Tommy wrote in the chat that he had found the golden poop! Suddenly people came and landed all around us, but it was a joke - tTHERE IS NO GOLDEN poop! But it inspired us to go back to the Sewer and shot this picture.

Year Of No Light formed in 2001 in Bordeaux (Fr). With their first album, Nord, YONL have proven adept a shifting seamlessly between genres, balancing post-rock, sludge, somber psychedelics and crushing dark shoegaze.
In 2010, now backed by two drums, 3 guitars, the band released its second album, Ausserwelt, oscillating between drone, doom, post-rock, black metal and progressive rock.
Happened to see this totally macabre, gross and neglected old fountain, full of sludge and slime. UGH !! The water making a mist of yellow water was running over it’s face. It looked so bizarre and pitiful, I almost felt sorry for it. I thought it was worth a shot.

NS 15T makes track speed past CP Stonewall with the Blue Ridge and the massive Merck complex in the background.
I thought I would explore my lighter side for a change. This was another attempt at a high key b&w but it all went horribly wrong and ended up as a grey sludge. So, it is now a colour shot and I think this one does look better with a border.
This is a very familiar location to me, but, it is the first time I have shot it with a telephoto. It is interesting how you see things differently with a longer lens.
In My Garden .... This frog lives in an old belfast sink at the top of my garden. How it survives is a miracle, as the water in the old sink is the consistency of sludge!
This is low tide at Blind bight in the morning, with the sun reflecting of the inlets.

Located at the far western end of the old Midland WAGR (railway) workshops site is a 200 by 50 metres (660 by 160 ft) dam. Initially created as a storage dam for water supplies in the late 1890s, it was increased in size in 1947 for coal storage. A treatment plant built on the site in 1974 used the dam to discharge wastewater.
Development of the Woodbridge Lakes housing estate near the site prompted environmental studies of the heavy metals and sludge within the dam. The dam has been retained for its heritage value as a water feature, with some of the area comprising public open space.
This was not what I was hoping for, but the bright sunny day made up for it. Larry's Trucking #3011, is a new kid on the block at Mass Coastal. I'm not sure the heritage of this unit. Possibly an ex Milwaukee Road GP40?? Anyway, after a light engine move to New Bedford, MA, the crew goes to work in "Dirty Dirt" yard a the shipyards to remove the toxic sludge.

A "Gnome-be-gone" trundles out from the primordial ooze and sludge, leaving a trail of muddy footprints.

That morning in the alehouse none of them would have guessed they will lose all they had by the time night falls. Last night's election was the hot topic, when all of the sudden the sludge painted their lives red. It ate away the streets, houses, animals, vineyards, breathing nature. Causing permanent scars on body and soul. Two meters high. Making houses uninhabitable. The places they used to call their home.
And killing the neighbors they once had.
The scatching lye became their fate, still leaving them human. Standing two feet on the ground, holding onto life with both hands, with a mighty heart... and a smile on their faces.
Do they have anything left? Soul and memories. Dignity.
Objects surrounding us are just objects. They will only be important after they are gone. Just a smile and few kind words do stay with us.
Delving into the roots of Post-Apoc, inspired by one of my favorite MOCs of all time by Legohaulic. That build was one of the first MOCs I saw before I joined the Lego community. Finally got around to finishing this morning. Enjoy! :)
