Lovely delicate growth, living on a Cow pat

Sporangia of a (yet to be identified) slime mould growing on a garden shed. Those fruiting bodies are around 1mm high. 3 February 2022. Ealing, London, England, UK.

(I'm adding this to fungi Flickr groups - I realise that's not technically the right home for it).

Slime mould fruiting bodies with an unknown (to me at least) invertebrate

Found at Mayville Ledge Beech-Maple Woods SNA in east-central Wisconsin. Dodge County, Wisconsin, USA.

Found on fallen tree in mixed hardwood forest. Presumably a Chocolate Tube Slime, Stemonitis sp.

Single exposure, slightly cropped, handheld, in situ. Canon MT-26EX flash unit, Ian McConnachie and plastic cup diffuser.

Maybe Metatrichia floriformis?

Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa

A nice find yesterday in Stakebank Woods. I think this has to be my favourite slime mold.. Nothing to look at by eye but so gorgeous through the macro lens.

A 'miniatured-self'....Oh!!!! what a beautiful nature's miniature forest.

Slime Mold found by Melvyn. He said is super trees of GBTB....lol.

I think Lamproderma/Collaria, will check back tomorrow to be sure.

more pixel stick play - straight out of camera no photoshop

These really caught my eye at Calli Woods Nature Preserve near Vernon, Indiana. The bright red eventually becomes brown. When that happens the slime resembles miniature cigars.

Lovely little find today and some Coral Slime Mold. I've been wanting to find this for ages! Only a small patch around 5mm across but hopefully more to find in the coming months.

Found at Mill Bluff SNA in west central Wisconsin. Monroe County, Wisconsin, USA.

Maybe Ceratiomyxa porioides? Found on old fallen tree in mixed hardwood/conifer forest.

Single exposure, uncropped, handheld, in situ. Canon MT-26EX flash unit, Ian McConnachie and plastic cup diffuser.

Ecto 1 could really have done with Slimer.

Wouldn't it be nice if these Cuusoo (Lego Ideas) sets came with a little extra suprise?

The hinkyfinkler slime gabber of Uspas7 is a genuinely friendly chap - he never stops moving or talking and is in perpetutal motion, even during the few minutes a day when he power naps. His jelly like epidermis allows him to absorb useful items he finds on his travels. Here we see him sporting Centurion power armour and the latest Croakley anti UV visor.

He enjoys singing the songs he picks up from space naval officers at the space port where he lives and is also a talented fro-britch card player, his many tentacles make the games sleight of hand skills very easy. Some people have suggested he goes Pro but he isn't really keen on the interstellar travel that would be required to work the circuit.

I'm entering it in Spacejam for fun and just to participate more than anything else. :)

A slime mould, Trichia affinis, growing on a piece of rotten wood. Each 'cushion' is less than 1mm across. 11 November 2022. Fox Wood, Ealing, London, England, UK.
