Nancy managed to get a good pic of Slash (of Guns 'n Roses and Velvet Revolver) at Disneyland yesterday.
It's strange to see him without his trademark black hat, but it's really him.
Komodo with ray of bokeh..
Slasher hatched at National Zoo in 1992. In Zoo Atlanta’s Asian Forest, he enjoys an environment that resembles the Komodo dragon’s native Indonesian scrublands, with ample opportunities for one of his favorite activities – sunning.
Komodo dragons are found in grassy scrub areas and monsoon forests on the Indonesian islands of Komodo, Rintja and western Flores. Komodos are probably the only lizards that will attack prey larger than themselves. Males may reach 8 to 9 feet; females, 6 to 7 feet. Large Komodos weigh over 100 pounds. The largest ever recorded was over 10 feet long and weighed over 330 pounds.

When I displayed a photo of the red panda at Lehigh Valley Zoo to a group of people, someone asked whether they had paws like those of a raccoon.
The answer is no; the red panda's "hands" are built for climbing, not grasping. I just made a shot of Slash, the red panda at Elmwood Park Zoo, that should help solve the mystery.

House policy dictated that no professional cameras were allowed
without a photo pass so I was "stuck" using my Fuji s9000 it was
heartbreaking to see photographers standing 2 feet in front of me with
lenses worth close to 5x the total cost of my camera... But thanks to
some spotlights I was able to get a couple fun shots.
Also I was not present at the after party @ "CBGB's" ... So no I
Don't have any pictures of that event..
Alas here we are.. some of the hundreds of fun shots I took all
released under the creative commons license. WOOT.. I only hope the
pros in front of me with the fancy lenses do the same.. or at least
give the profits to Road Recovery..
Look to The Nightwatchman's blog on Myspace for a report on who played
what songs..
