Slash Conversion 1/8 On-Road RV
All the upgrades for this generation:
All new suspension, semi composite arms, caster blocks and hub carriers. Corrected geometry, scrub radius and favorable ackerman this time around.
Rear Hub carriers are a PA2200 and Carbon Fiber blend, and in combination with much needed larger bearings the rear axle is now much more stable under power.
New stiffer and more easily adjustable Sway-bars.
All new front brake system, vented steel rotors that unlike the previous composite discs stay together at high heat/rpm.
Custom Brake pads with calculated Thermal mass to keep the surrounding plastics cool enough.
Happy to note that the new front is easy to work on, after having all these issues with the previous brake setup.

New LiPo's that are bigger and heavier unfortunately, but necessary to keep up with the high current demand.
Off course the Chassis plate got updated to accommodate the new features, but also to have more longitudinal flex and upgraded aerodynamics.
also a new air scoop and diffuser to go with it.
The new diffuser generates less downforce but is more efficient and has less airflow separation.
Looking forward to testing and adjust from there, in the end it is just a prototype / R&D project.
