The statue of "Basto" in Republic Square in Refojos, headquarters of the Municipality of Headwaters de Basto is one of the most curious monuments of the Municipality. Represents a Lusitanian warrior and is one of several lying statues that appeared in Galicia and were placed on the graves of some of these warriors and heroes deified.

Those that do exist are kept in museums, except the "Kits" and the recent discovery statue of Santa Comba, also in the parish of S. Miguel, which are outdoors. These monuments date from the era before the coming of the Romans, presumably from the first century A. C.

Carved in granite, art rude and strong physique, like all others, dress or tunic sagum, enclosed belt from which hangs sheathed dagger and sword. The shield, small and round, is centered in the abdomen.

The statue of "Basto" is not today as it was originally. Was modified, first in 1612 and later in 1892. Hanno pubblicato il loro nuovo album in studio intitolato “Living The Dream” il 21 settembre su Snakepit Records, etichetta di Slash, in partnership con Roadrunner Records/Warner Music. Il 25 Luglio scorso è uscito il primo singolo dal titolo “Driving Rain” e in attesa di ascoltare il disco intero annunciamo la data italiana. A proposito di “Driving Rain”, Slash ha dichiarato che: “Questo riff mi ricorda i vecchi Aerosmith!”

Slash, pseudonimo di Saul Hudson, è un chitarrista, compositore e produttore discografico britannico naturalizzato statunitense, noto per la sua militanza nei Guns N' Roses (1985-1996 e nuovamente dal 2016) e per la sua carriera solista avviata nel 2010.

Il soprannome gli fu affibbiato da Seymour Cassel, padre di un suo amico d'infanzia. Si trova in 65ª posizione nella classifica dei 100 migliori chitarristi di tutti i tempi secondo la rivista Rolling Stone ed è annoverato fra le influenze primarie di Kenny Olson, Nashville Pussy, Hardliner, New American Shame, Jason Krause, Kenny Wayne Shepherd e altri ancora.
