I was locking up when I glanced out and was struck by the sky. Quickly put the camera on a tripod and took a series of pictures.

This image was made of the best of 5 sequential 1 min. exposures taken by a Canon T1i starting at 12:55AM EST from Lima, Ohio on 5/31/2011, combined with 12 sequential 4 minute exposures starting at 1:10AM on 5/31/2011.

Orion Skyglow filter was used.

Mount is wobbly and individual frames have some motion.

Raw files are CR2 format.

My updated image of the pleiades from last night. Finally solved a problem with my stacking process! I always got rid of data accidently by converting my raw files, incredibly stupid mistake. But hey that is the only way you learn this stuff :D

This is the Deer Lick Group and Stephen's Quintet group of galaxies in Pegasus constellation. We captured this image on Oct 30, 2018 with the SVT105 triplet refractor and the Nikon D5300 camera. Capture details - Orion Skyglow (LP) filter, ISO 200, f7, 42 min (14x3min) of total exposure. Low exposure as the DSO started going into tall palm trees. This is the mildly enhanced version to show the galaxies better.

Went looking for LMC/SMC with the camera, didn't find them. Or rather, couldn't see them possibly due to the insane skyglow from the Easter Show.

Did find NGC 2516 though.
