This is my attempt to capture how beautiful my mother was on her wedding day in January 4, 1981. This was taken from the photo of her putting a wedding ring on Daddy's hand.
My mother doesn't show her emotion much, nor does she speak her mind often, but I think the best attribute she has is putting the needs of others first before herself. She always would provide for us first, before herself.
My mommy, I think, is my biggest fan when it comes to my drawings. She always praises my work (even if I think it's not that good.) She would always say that my works are better than the oil paintings she had seen (which I do not agree with.) And, actually, she already is already planning to have every piece framed and placed inside our house.

I lightly sketch the designs that I'm going to make onto the back of the critters using a needle tool.
Here are some character design sketches for my current short anthology comic strip. The main character is a mother, but I made her look too stern at first, then went for shorter hair and younger. I\'m still not quite decided on her final look though. She doesn\'t seem scruffy enough for a post-apocalyptic survivor, although the last sketch isn\'t too far off...

a bit different to what i normally do but its pretty fun to get loose every now and again and try out some new styles quite like this sketch and might try out a few more that are similar would be good to hear what others think........ think it might be easier to paint some stuff like this compared to the way more complex stuff that i usually sketch

The seventh workshop in our series sought to contrast two methods of subject commonly used in creating art. Whether your work from Reference photos, direct observation, or some hybrid has long been a heated debate. With this workshop, we wanted to explore the various benefits and drawbacks of both methods. Attendees were asked to create two sketches, the first was from a photo reference of a still life scene and the second was from direct observation. During the review at the end of the workshop, the jury remained split on which method they preferred; perhaps this debate will never be settled, but the creative individuals at Dreyfuss + Blackford Architecture will certainly continue to search.
What a germ might look like, wearing a shoe, with a rocket powered peg-leg.
Random doodle I created, while talking on the phone today.
I rarely draw anymore, so I figured I'd display my handiwork.
