Ink with Digital Colour | 7" x 10" | This is a sketch of part of the view westward along Richmond Street East in Toronto, as seen from an 11th floor window of a unit in The Modern condo building on Sherbourne Street. The segment of Richmond Street visible in the sketch starts from about Jarvis Street and disappears west into the financial district.

didn't like how the faces came out, as well as many other things, hehe. then added some digital dis-enhancements, but i like them somewhow.
(it's also from last summer's set photos in La Lucila del Mar).

The historic Sacramento Railyards was our muse for this D+B sketch session! We got access to the site and specifically, the interior of the Paint Shop to sketch not only the historic elements, but adding in new architecture that could accompany it. Truth be told, we were so busy checking out all the great details in and around the buildings that most of us didn't actually draw anything! The drawing and watercolor that did get finished will be posted soon.
