Sketched this in a restaurant while waiting for my food to arrive.
It's an idea I have for a drawing I'll be doing soon
A section of an A3 biro sketch, shame about the crease in the middle!
I might see about scanning it bit by bit and putting it together.
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind.
We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and out little life is ended with a sleep.
A sketch of a new unnamed character i'm working on. Based on the now tired "i see dead people" psychic trope.
Sketches from a drawing game played by Elizabeth Bowen, Henry Reed and Michael Ramsbotham. Comprises a series of sketches of famous people.

For day 21 of 30 Days of Get Your Art On, I did a sketch of some oranges, and art supplies that were on my art table.
Do what you do best. Sit down in the middle of noisy street or find a cozy cafe. Take out your pen and sketchbook and sketch away. You may like us on Facebook as well
Miniclip has printed official Sketch Star stationary to have around the office, seen here with official Miniclip pen.

Fineliner on paper, A4
During this class we had to draw geometrical forms, mostly boxes,
for weeks. It startet with parallel boards, later parallel stacked boxes were added, even later non-parallel boxes and then finally some triangles and ellipses.
After that some weeks of nude life drawings followed.
At the end we draw some more "free" stuff like bikes, skeletons, cloths.

Additional we had to work at our sketchbook after class.
The historic Sacramento Railyards was our muse for this D+B sketch session! We got access to the site and specifically, the interior of the Paint Shop to sketch not only the historic elements, but adding in new architecture that could accompany it. Truth be told, we were so busy checking out all the great details in and around the buildings that most of us didn't actually draw anything!
Continuing my exploration of sketching on alternative devices. This is a Boogie Board. Cost is about $20 USD. It is a LCD tablet. Size of this one is about 5.5x9 inches (14x22.5 cm), but you can buy lots of different LCD tablets of various sizes. You write or draw on it with the included stylus, but any pointed object will do including a fingernail or dried up ballpoint pen. It is pressure sensitive. The harder you press, the wider the line. There is no eraser. Pressing the button erases the entire image. There is no backlight. The marks only show up well under bright light. Sunlight is best. It has no onboard storage or connections to USB, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi, but you can use the Jot app to take a picture of the tablet. It produces an inverted high contrast image. I discovered you can also scan the tablet on a flatbed scanner then invert the image and clean it up in your favorite image editor.
Think of this as digital scrap paper. Use it for quick notes or for doing warm up sketches or thumbnails or for exploring compositional ideas or just plain doodling; all the stuff you don't want to keep forever in an expensive sketchbook. It has magnets on the back so you can stick it to your refrigerator and use it for messages or grocery lists. Just use Jot to take a picture on your phone and take the list with you to the store. It’s really very handy. I use it every day.
