sketches of everybody

Tokyo, Japan

2012.4.21.

Wanted to sketch out a more fanciful dress, and once I was finished with her I realized she looked like Disney's Belle. Oops! That was not on purpose. Wonder if I should change her hair style?

I didn't draw for a while, so I did this sketch to keep in touch.

My combination sales-order pad and sketch pad, folded shut, along with a "nerd pouch" that holds my sketching tools. Both items fit handily into my shirt pocket. At times I often substitute a small Moleskine (spell?) sketch book. In the colder weather, when wearing a larger outer coat, I carry both sketch books with me. Like most people, I cannot seem to settle on any one particular sketch book or sketch tool.

A sketch I did during the '09 Central Canada Comic Con...

Rough sketch based on a passage from my Faery Story, to be found at: www.haloquin.wordpress.com

Sketched this in a restaurant while waiting for my food to arrive.

It's an idea I have for a drawing I'll be doing soon

A section of an A3 biro sketch, shame about the crease in the middle!

I might see about scanning it bit by bit and putting it together.

And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,

The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,

The solemn temples, the great globe itself,

Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve

And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,

Leave not a rack behind.

We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and out little life is ended with a sleep.

A sketch of a new unnamed character i'm working on. Based on the now tired "i see dead people" psychic trope.

Sketches from a drawing game played by Elizabeth Bowen, Henry Reed and Michael Ramsbotham. Comprises a series of sketches of famous people.
