Sketch of a winding bridge in Linear Park in Rochester, NY. This sketch looked awesome about 20 minutes before I painted the daunting shadows in the middle of the page. Should have quit while I was ahead. Sometimes it's hard to remember that, with sketching, less is more.

had no eraser, or paint.. used what I found.. mainly cheap-ass felttips.. and a broken pencil. had fun dough
Ok, so my sketch looks a bit confusing but I want to create my own lettering of the word Menorca and have it resemble the sun (top sketch) and for the person (woman sunbathing) her heart shaped sunglasses will have iconic places from the island reflected off them.
I will be fixing up the size of the lady so it isn't too focused on her sunbathing rather in her sunglasses.
As for the colors I will be using the recognizable aqua/dark blue (water), Yellow / green and a terracotta (like a lot of the roof tiles I saw in google)

Quick sketch watercolor 5 x 7. I'm doing a series of 5 minute or less quick sketches to experiment with watercolor effects. The first ones are a combination of wet and dry techniques, yet I hope to get something worthwhile in the effort. Even a well played scale can have its own appeal.

Me and my friend were hanging in NYC, and happened upon the David Letterman show. I suggested that we try to get tickets. Not only did we get in (they actually interviewed us to see how much we knew about the show, thank goodness I have a freak memory for such things and could reference "will it float," and "is this something", which are sketches david letterman used to do) and we got it. We got to sit in the FRONT row, and those tennis balls are one sthat I caught that Serena Williams hit into the audience.
Above are a couple drawings that I do in my sketch book in my spare time. They are normally things that come to mind or I have drawn a smaller version in my notebook.
