I've been spending my lunch hours sketching in the mall beside my work (North York City Centre, Toronto), and will be posting the results over the next while. This will probably end up being the first and last page that I colour, as I think it kills the dynamism of the drawing somehow.
Female superhero. Pencilled then inked. Coloured with brush markers.
(Loosely inspired by Taylor Hebert ("Skitter") in the online book "Worm".)

Happy Valentine's Day, This was made of two stacked squares of fabric, (red on top) stitched and the top layer cut away, yarn couched on to trim the outline of the heart.
These sketchbook pages were from a Indian project based on Indian miniature paintings and Indian culture. My work was inspired by Christopher Corr's style.
cava cafe has sketchbooks lying around that people draw in. i decided to add to them tonight. the thing in front of me in this photo is something of gene's that he asked me to add to, and then at the bottom is something i did. the first thing i worked on is just barely in this photo.

This is A3 sketchbook work from my current A-Level art book. I have recently decided to look at Edvard Munch and have shown how I have taken inspiration from his work to produce photographs using a scanner.
Artwork by Joanna Abbott-Moss.
UPDATE: Here's a video I put together from the Seattle show:
The 2011 Sketchbook Project is a traveling exhibition of artist sketchbooks from around the world, curated by the good folks at the arthousecoop.com. Here is a look at some of the pages in the sketchbook I completed for the project. My theme was "A Day In The Life".
Below is the info for the Seattle show opening, see you there!

This is the first page of my new sketchbook. I don't have a particular theme, and there won't be one running through my book, but am joining Susan in 'The Beginners Corner' because I am ;)
I would like to thank Lynn for her unending encouragement and support. I'm thinking about the next page and hope it doesn't take as long as this one :0) x
Just sent out my sketchbook for Sketchbook Project. I had so much fun completing it, I am definitely taking part again next year.

Interesting commentary going on here. It is amazing what you will find in a kids' sketchbook.
