A Wolf, meeting with a Lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea to justify to the Lamb the Wolf's right to eat him. He thus addressed him: "Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me." "Indeed," bleated the Lamb in a mournful tone of voice, "I was not then born." Then said the Wolf, "You feed in my pasture." "No, good sir," replied the Lamb, "I have not yet tasted grass." Again said the Wolf, "You drink of my well." "No," exclaimed the Lamb, "I never yet drank water, for as yet my mother's milk is both food and drink to me." Upon which the Wolf seized him and ate him up, saying, "Well! I won't remain supperless, even though you refute every one of my imputations."

Sketchbook jeans without the pleats. I am going to make them again taking a couple of inches out of each leg. They look great as they are but I think they would also look good in a skinnier version.
I signed up for Sketchbook Skool with the hope that I would get back into the habit of sketching daily. Most of my efforts show how rusty I am, but this approach as taught by Jane LaFazio worked well for me. Sketch in pencil first, use pen for the lines and paint in watercolor. Our assignment was a grid format that I also liked.
These three series of sketchbook scribblings are part of one drawing session one night. I just started drawing off the top of my head. Totally random and left of center for me. I really enjoyed it. Some of the drawings relate to what was going on on the other side of the page, especially with the Sharpie marker stuff.

it's actually been really hard. it's my first week back at school and it's been intense, i didn't think it would be this hard.
I did these back in the first year. I forgot I had until I was going through all my sketchbooks yesterday.
