My sketch of Self-Portrait Vincent van Gogh , 1889. Sketched during recent art trip to paris we where lucky enough to see the van Gogh exhibit. I did this sketch while standing and being hounded by hoards of school children and I am very happy with it as I think it really shows how I have grown from my time in art foundation, being afraid to draw often plating it safe and keeping away from portaits to standing in a gallery letting people look at what I am doing and being proud of it.

This is a reworked sketch I did a while back. I used pastels and coated with polymer medium. Makes it had to take a pix, but it needed help.

The original idea for these asymmetrical earrings came from a custom request listed on etsy for bridesmade earrings for a dress that had a wide strap on one side, and no strap on the other. Hillary thought that having a two different earrings might be an interesting way to draw attention to the asymmetry of the dress while still balancing the overall look.
