a bit different to what i normally do but its pretty fun to get loose every now and again and try out some new styles quite like this sketch and might try out a few more that are similar would be good to hear what others think........ think it might be easier to paint some stuff like this compared to the way more complex stuff that i usually sketch

The seventh workshop in our series sought to contrast two methods of subject commonly used in creating art. Whether your work from Reference photos, direct observation, or some hybrid has long been a heated debate. With this workshop, we wanted to explore the various benefits and drawbacks of both methods. Attendees were asked to create two sketches, the first was from a photo reference of a still life scene and the second was from direct observation. During the review at the end of the workshop, the jury remained split on which method they preferred; perhaps this debate will never be settled, but the creative individuals at Dreyfuss + Blackford Architecture will certainly continue to search.

Clubman sketch for nemini logo

What a germ might look like, wearing a shoe, with a rocket powered peg-leg.

Random doodle I created, while talking on the phone today.

I rarely draw anymore, so I figured I'd display my handiwork.

Sketching with charcoal is a good medium for beginners to learn before moving on to others such as sketching with pencil or graphite. “Udaan - The Flight” sketch is made on “Charcoal on paper” medium and is available at IndianArtIdeas. Sketch - Chaveiro Automotivo

A sketch I whipped up in about 5 minutes tonight.

Preliminary sketch for Anastrianna, an Eladrin wizard

Study, pancil.

I made this watching on chennel 4 Life Class:today's nude.

Sketches inspired by one of the shapes from my own drawings (in the box on the top left corner).

I chose to work on that shape because it looks like a flower, but is not too pretty and sweet, but rather graphic and maybe a bit rough.

I have recently started sketching possible dress ideas. I love formal wear, prom dresses, bridal gowns and alongside this I love clothing that dates back to the early 60's and this is what I tried to capture in some of my sketches. I also collect Vogue patterns from similar periods of time and I took some of my inspiration from them.

A sketch for a microscale something or other. Still needs more work (the engines aren't along the centre of gravity, some other stuff).

I probably won't do any more with it, so if anyone else wants to use it, go right ahead. Just contact me over at CSF for the illustrator file if you want it.
