Lime Sink is part of Suwannee River State Park. I had visited the state park before but only took in part of its trails, intending to use it as a launching area for the Big Oak Trail. What I overlooked in the northern end of this park far outshone what I experienced on the Big Oak Trail. Lime Sink, a sometimes spring which turns into a sink in low water, was a highlight of that.

Crazy Tuesday: Water
I ran water over the glass and waited until it washed across the bottom of the sink, to get that gleam from the stainless steel. Blue tones were enhanced by a filter in PhotoWorks.
Berlin, mysterious high tide ;-)
The impression of water is created by a reflection in a car window. One can see also through the window. The camera bottom was put parallel to the window. A car roof would not work to create the effect of the sinking house ;-) .

A sink along the Suwannee basin. The look of springs and sinks changes constantly with the water levels but this weekend it was certainly at its peak.
The Aucilla Sinks trail is a spectacular portion of the Florida National Scenic Trail lcoated in the extremely rural Big Bend area of Florida.
He likes to sit in the bathroom sinks and especially loves it if the faucet is dripping a bit. He is an odd one and likes getting the top of his head wet.
Retour sur Terre... au sens figuré aussi, avec les sensations et les aspects de la vie normale qui reviennent un par un... Le moins sympa : 6 mois de factures à payer !
Back on Earth and everything is slowly sinking in... Normal life is coming back little by little, some things I didn't miss: 6 months of unpaid bills to sort through !

Sunset at the Three Stars shipwreck in Akrotiri, Cyprus. The ship sank in 1972 after catching fire and is now partly submerged in about 7 metres off the shore.
For those interested in the technical details, this is a single RAW shot with Nikon D750 and Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8. Framed at 24mm and exposed for 76 seconds at f/11 and ISO 100, using two Lee filters: the LEE 6-stop ND and the 0.9 soft grad.

One of the training exercises in Miksang Photography is to take 30 shots of fresh perceptions at your kitchen sink. Today I learned it is much more fun with a sink full of dirty dishes.
