Wild Dogwood in the Azalea Beds. Those are Pink Azaleas in the background. Thanks for your visits and comments. They are muchly appreciated.

A singular cloud.

Indeed, the next day it rained!
Taken @ Hazardous.
The empty road, the night
Rainin' all through the day
A flash, a flicker of light
Then it all goes away
Darkness falls, the black
Engulfing everything in its way
Lost are all hopes, little tracks
Only the desolation is here to stay
An empty bench, left on its own
Forlorn looks the dusty seat
An empty heart, beating for one
Someone it will never meet

A sound of something breaking
I awake from sleep
A sound full of unfamiliarity
Try to cover my ears but can’t go to sleep...
Unique building located right in the heart of Madrid, and in one of the most emblematic streets of the capital such as Calle Alcala.
Brightness, views of the Retiro Park, singularity and situation in the center of the city and the most emblematic places in Madrid.

Olympus
Photographed while walking through a nature reserve during a snowstorm and dense fog.
I used four times the exposure time and could create a high key shot by this way.
Not my usual style and an uncommon shot for me, so every criticism and comment is very much appreciated.

Now this building was just downright weird, the way the walls are so structured at the corners give the image an impression of not being straight, yet it actually is. One of the windows was mostly black unlike the others that are inserted with this white frame. It was a beautifully clear day hence the wonderful blue sky, which was the reason I decided not to put this into monochrome.
So how is everyone, we all surviving? Hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! :)
Course project - Focus & Depth of Field
A branch of lantern snowdrops in the afternoon sun. Task was to get a defined blurred depth on an image with inclusion of textures and some imagination. The blur had to be textured
A lone cormorant resting on the pier remains of the Old Bridport Jetty, Bridport northeast Tasmania.
Older image. Pre-pandemic.
I like the way this sits alone. Seems a shame. I have never seen any sign of occupation.
