I want to share with you the story of a client who was afraid to come to me.

In fact, she was afraid not so much of me as of an uncomfortable environment for herself.

At such moments, I always clarify: what is missing, what prevents you from relaxing? Believe me, I am the same person who worries before shooting, and I always think about how to establish contact and make the process easy and positive.

I offered this girl an additional meeting. As a rule, after the dating stage is passed, it becomes much easier to work. We drank coffee, found common topics for conversation, outlined the desired result, and the shyness with fear left.

Now this girl is my regular customer.

Do not treat the photo shoot as an exam, imagine that it is a small holiday! And I will always help you!

Nothing says good morning like the rich aroma of fresh-brewed coffee.

- Cumulus Inc, by John Lethlean, Reviewer, Epicure, The Age August 26, 2008 It's something of a foodie club, already a hangout for the restaurant industry and its hangers-on, people who will have no issues with some of the menu's vocabulary (Kurobuta, shanklish, boudin noir, a la plancha), its wine selections (off the beaten track) and food style, difficult to pigeonhole but certainly anything but populist.

A bag of coffee beans

Posted with Photerloo

A lovely day out with some girlfriends and High Tea at the Queen Victoria Building.

I had the gluten free High Tea with a cocktail and Golden Assam tea which was said to have a mild malted cocoa flavour. It was delicious, but it mostly tasted like a mild jasmine tea to me.

The cocktail was exquisite. Single Origin coffee, Ketel One vodka, Kahlua and Creme de Cacao, shaken and topped with roasted coffee beans. I didn't want to finish it!

The gluten free treats were also delicious... down to the last wee morsel. I especially loved the savouries, little spinachy cheese thing, the almond crunch with strawberry custard cream and lemon curd cake.

I think this is my third or fourth visit there now and I always love it. Only gripe was the service was a little slow and mixed up, but was always polite and friendly.

Most of my cups broke just before the move, so I'm glad my Bisqit Ceramics cup survived!

Attention to quality. Also, a very fine Ethiopian single-origin coffee - no cream needed.

Coffee in the summer of corona. Trying @staceyannlyn’s roast of Richards Zelaya’s third Cup of Excellence submission this year from @harkencoffee.

.

A washed bourbon from Antigua, Guatemala. The roaster’s describes it as “a really fine example of a Guatemalan coffee; classic, balanced and clean, but with lots of complexity.”

.

A great classic competition-vibes coffee. Super clean onset, very balanced, that matures into a red wine and fresh tobacco vibes. A roasty, herbal, winey finish like Merlot. Lovely.
