If this looks generous, it wasn't. Only in calories....barely a quarter cup, a couple of inches around, it has 220 calories.
But delicious. And pink.

A versatile subject, $1.29 well-spent!
I have been single for six years in the sense that I live alone at home.
Since breaking up with my ex, the only man I've ever really shared my life with, I've still been dating. I spent nine months with one guy, never living together, a few weeks with another and three more for what were just one night stands.
So I'm still single. And so it is based on real facts that I will tell you, in four parts, this "story of my life".

#Lookingclose...onFriday! #asinglebladeofgrass
Sometimes it is the puristic minimalism that attracts us!
I decided to use this Image for the upcoming theme called "A single blade of grass" as this one is real puristic. I tokk this image quite a while ago and never thought about it anymore. When i read the new theme i reminded me about that one and thought i might give it a try. It is even that long ago that i used my old X-T30 for it.
Thank you for visits, comments and favs!

Asparagus fern (Asparagus sprengeri) have very unnoticeable small flowers and berries. The fully open flowers measure 1/8th of an inch across.
Native to Africa, asparagus fern also goes by these aliases: emerald fern, emerald feather, and lace fern. Dedicated macro lens. My back porch. No post processing. No crop.
As I've not been out much, I've concentrated on restoring slides.
I rather liked this scene. I wonder how much it has changed since it was taken in July 1967.
###
Due to a construction-related total closure of the Main-Weser-Bahn for the extension of the S-Bahn line S6 in the first two weeks of the Hessian Easter holidays 2023, additional trains were ordered by the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund as RE 16 between Friedberg (Hess) and Frankfurt (Main) to cover the traffic flows on Mondays to Fridays. These trains, consisting of class 245 locomotives with double-decker coaches, did not take the route via Hanau, but via the single-track line Friedberg (Hess) - Rosbach v d Höhe - Friedrichsdorf (Ts) and then via the "Homburger Bahn" to Frankfurt (Main) Hbf. Here we see 245 018 with RE 99041 Friedberg (Hess) - Frankfurt (Main) Hbf in Bad Homburg station, which it passes through without stopping. The impressive building of the Kaiserbahnhof (Homburg vor der Höhe was a popular summer residence of Kaiser Wilhelm II) was put into service on 26 October 1907 and forms a commendable backdrop for this train, which is not a common sight there.
Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today is a pink or purple day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Smile on Saturday is a single drop. Who knew that drops are so cool and difficult to photograph ? Especially when you have to capture only one drop at the time… Of course, I ended up with way too many drops pictures, so I’m pretty much sure we will see some drops photos in a next few days or weeks… and just like that another addiction is born. I hope you will like it ! Happy SOS to all participants !!
FYI: I have a family event tonight so I will not be able to answer your comments …. I will try to catch up as soon as my hungover is… well… over.
Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !
