This is another from the sunrise at Singing Beach last weekend. This one has the composition I liked best, but it was taken much earlier in the morning before the clouds were looking good. What I realize now is that when the sky was looking like the previous upload, I should have run back to this spot. Hopefully I can remember that next time I'm in this situation.

Been hearing lots of birds singing recently including Great Tits, Dunnocks, Song Thrushes, Collared Doves, Wood Pigeons, Robins and even Blackbirds. This is one that I spotted singing during the late afternoon today. He spent quite some time up at the top of the small tree seen here before heading down to the ground to dig up some worms for dinner.

This is the first one I've ever filmed singing in January, but I do occasionally hear them at this time of year in the distance during the early hours. I always love listening to the Blackbird's song. It's one of my favourite signs of spring approaching. :-)

Theme: Christmas stress (Julestri)

Førjulstida innebærer mange sosiale aktiviteter, som selvsagt er veldig hyggelig, men når alle plasseres innenfor et veldig tett tidsrom, så har det en tendens til å bli litt stress.

That's the singing handyman, singing (rather than being handy) from his cockpit as his truck spews bubbles from the side (see the lower left corner of the photo). He is ignoring me with my camera because a young Asian woman was giggling at him from the passenger's window.

Amarti m'affatica mi svuota dentro

Qualcosa che assomiglia a ridere nel pianto

Amarti m'affatica mi da' malinconia

Che vuoi farci è la vita

E' la vita, la mia

Amami ancora fallo dolcemente

Un anno un mese un'ora perdutamente

Amarti mi consola le notti bianche

Qualcosa che riempie vecchie storie fumanti

Amarti mi consola mi da' allegria

Che vuoi farci è la vita

E' la vita, la mia

Amami ancora fallo dolcemente

Un anno un mese un'ora perdutamente

Amami ancora fallo dolcemente

Solo per un'ora perdutamente

This singing reindeer head is just above the "xmas pub" at the German Market in Brum at the moment. He's pretty jolly and sings in German and English. After a few wheat beers and mulled wines you feel like you're hallucinating though.

Dostanę chrypki, być może,

Głos jeszcze stracę, broń Boże,

A koncert mam zamówiony

W najbliższą środę u wrony”.
