This is me singing at my first invitied gig, it was a friday night concert. A charity event to raise money for the red cross to assist in bush fire relief.
A fantastic night with 16 different artists performing and a really exciting event to be a part of.
Last September 2012, I attended a talk by Chris Stepanik on chastity and marriage. Before his talk, he sang a few praise and contemporary hit songs and asked some people to come up the stage to sing with him. He sang well and delivered a very inspiring talk.
I noticed this man playing the guitar and singing outside his hardware store in Cathcart as I drove by. He sang a rousing version of "500 miles" by The Proclaimers as I snapped away.
Burnley's Panopticon, 'Singing Ringing Tree', is a unique musical sculpture which overlooks Burnley from its position high above the town on Crown Point.
The "Ringing Singing Tree" on Crown Point is "A unique musical sculpture, constructed frm pipes of galvanised steel, which harnesses the energy of the prevailing wind to produce a low, tuneful song". Well it was as windy as you could hope to wish for when I went up there yesterday, and all I could hear was the wind itself. The modern art remained remarkably silent.

Saw this Robin sitting on a tree above me and singing really loud. It was cool how it was standing on one foot.
On the Moors above Burnley, Lancashire. The Singing Ringing Tree is a 3 metre tall construction comprising pipes of galvanised steel which harness the energy of the wind to produce a slightly discordant and penetrating choral sound covering a range of several octaves.
Singing Irish (I think) guy. Of course I gave him some money after the shot. Cheers he said. :) - Didn't even notice the background until just now. - Nijmegen candids

Singing in front of the lake. This one apparently didn't like me taking his photo in song. He stayed in the same spot for several more minutes, preening himself, looking around, and sometimes letting out a little squawk. But he refused to sing again, even when birds around him were singing and a male would usually have added his own song. But I did get one shot of him in song!
A singing angel in a window of the chancel of St Andrew's chruch in West Wratting in Cambridgeshire. The window probably dates from the second half of the nineteenth century
