The Singing Honeyeater is one of Australia’s most widespread species of honeyeater,
It is the first sighting of one for me (how common can they be you might ask!) and I spotted it on a walk to Yellow Rock, Portland.
A hyperactive little Carolina Wren singing amidst wild grapes in the Oklahoma Cross Timbers.
Our beautiful world, pass it on.
I met up with Tim Gamble for a spot of lp at the singing ringing tree, Despite its name it neither sings or rings, maybe the wind was at the wrong angle? Anyway, A good night shooting and catching up with a top bloke. I used the drone to light the "tree" from above.
Colossians 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
We were out walking today when we heard a bird singing very loudly. Looked up and there was this robin giving it his all on the top of a telegraph pole.

This is one of my favorite birds, the male American Redstart. It's a small bird, about 5", all black except for a white belly and striking patches of orange on it's tail, wings and sides.
It's hard to believe that these small birds (among many others) migrate from their wintering grounds in Mexico and as far away as South America.
Seen in Magee Marsh, Oak Harbor, Ohio, USA. Magee Marsh is a noted birding hotspot on the southern shore of Lake Erie, but it often seems to have more birders than birds.

It's nice to hear the songs of the red-winged blackbirds in the yard, right now, reminding me that spring is really coming, in spite of the recent blizzard. Andover, NJ

This wind powered sound sculpture is one of a number of "Panopticons" found on the moors of Lancashire, UK. Artists Mike Tonkin & Anna Liu
A Panopticon in Burnley, Lancashire.
Designed by architects Mike Tonkin and Anna Liu of Tonkin Liu, the Singing Ringing Tree is a 3 metre tall construction comprising pipes of galvanised steel. When the wind flows through the tubes it makes musical sounds.
It wasn't very windy when we visited but you can hear this if you visit this site...
