A European starling (Sturnus vulgaris), signing it's heart out in a hawthorn tree, full of the joys of spring. The strong sunshine was catching his iridescent plumage very nicely, making him look very dapper as he broadcast his presence to the neighbourhood.
This eastern meadowlark was photographed singing it's song while perched on a fencepost in Osceola County near Kenansville, Florida.

Singing Honeyeater
≠====================≠
i didn't take much notice of what were the before and after actions of this bird.
But on a subsequent visit noises from inside the bush revealed that she had probably been taking a break from sitting on eggs.
Actually they weren't singing, but having a right old ding dong over some scraps. They kept prizing their beaks together and pulling apart, after a few minutes of angry wrestling. I whipped my phone out in a mad rush, so it's all a bit blurry....but I think maybe it still works. I don't know if it's my imagination, but seagulls seem to be so much bigger than before lock down! I certainly wouldn't of messed with these!!

I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love
Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face
I walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
Just singin',Singin' in the rain
Why am I smiling and why do I sing?
Why does December seem sunny as Spring?
Why do I get up each morning to start
Happy and head-up with joy in my heart?
Why is each new task a trifle to do?
Because I am living a life full of you!
Dancin' in the rain
Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
Dee-ah dee-ah dee-ah
I'm happy again!
I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain!
I'm dancin' and singin' in the rain...
Why am I smiling
And why do I sing?
Why does September
Seem sunny as spring?
Why do I get up
Each morning and start?
Happy and head up
With joy in my heart
Why is each new task
A trifle to do?
Because I am living
A life full of you.
Hey, I'm singin' in the rain,
Just singin' in the rain,
What a glorious feeling,
I'm happy again!
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above,
The sun's in my heart and I'm ready for love!
Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place,
Come on with your rain,
I've got a smile on my face!
I'll walk down the lane
With a happy refrain,
Just singin', singin' and dancing in the rain!

Carolina wren singing his song. Great little birds.
Really pleased with this photo because I shot through a glass door.
A new bird for me, this Greater Antillean Grackle sings a few chords from it's repository while perched.

Most usually hear the song of the Wood Thrush in the forest before they ever see one in its normal location foraging on the ground.
We did find this bird above us in the branches singing away in Point Pelee National Park, Ontario.
