The Sinclair Inn is a two-and-a-half storey, Georgian style building with Classical influences, located on St. George Street, in the center of the town of Annapolis Royal, NS. The Inn is the result of the joining of an early eighteenth century French home with an Acadian style building. Both the inn and its surrounding property are included in the provincial designation. The Sinclair Building was built in 1915 and is home to Huntington Bank. I love the groovy 60s overhang.

Market Street at 4th, Steubenville.

Early for the ferry, I went to the water to see what was living down there. Lots of tiny crabs and fishes.

Seen at East Anglia Transport Museum, Carlton Coalville, Lowestoft on 3rd July 2008.

In the basement you can see several different types of foundation work used. I believe that that is an early fireplace on the right. The steel shaft running along the beam is one of many additions that have been made to stabilize the structure. and make it safe for the public to visit.

Old transistor radio, that was either sold at Sinclair gas stations, or given away as a premium. Unfortunately, this one doesn't work anymore.

My mid 1960's Sinclair bagpipes as I've known them since my Mom and Dad bought them in the late 60's.

There were about 7 fire trucks and various other vehicles down at the dogleg corner of Sinclair and Washita, as well as about 25 neighbors. Two of the trucks had their ladders extended into the sky and were pouring water down from up high. Turns out it burned three houses; someone in the crowd told me two old ladies were killed, but the next day, the local news said the only injury was one person with a burned arm. The fire spread through the huge old trees too.

They were soaking down the roofs of the nearby houses, which reminded me of when the fire department did the same thing to our house in 7th grade when a forest fire almost claimed it (interrupting me and my friend Jason, who were busy watching Doctor Who on VHS).

Look up! It's only been there 70 years. A WW2 Fire watchers post still sits atop the roof of this building. From here a volunteer fire watcher could sit and raise the alrm should a German incendiary bomb ignite anywhere in Kirkcaldy.

Earlier I was thinking about how much I miss my dad. He passed away in October. He gave me a beautiful sunset to photograph this evening. Taken over Lake Sinclair in Milledgeville, GA. 2/23/2011.

This dam is located on the southern edge of Lake Sinclair, and is used to power electric generators in the building next to the dam.

I loved this book when I was a kid. Sinclair sold gasoline, and the book marketed the company by making a link between dinosaurs and fossil fuel.

Renovated 1930's Sinclair station along old US 66 west of Halltown, MO

400 S. West Street

This beautiful old gas station was built in 1932 and served travelers on Route 66 until the mid 1960s when it stopped selling gas. It was then used as a body shop until it closed its doors in 1975.

Old Sinclair station in Elberta, UT. I've seen many pictures of this building before. There used to be an old green gas pump out front, I don't know if someone stole it, or if the owner sold or moved it.
