The Sinclair ZX-81 came after the ZX-80 and before the Timex Sinclair 1000. As shown here, it came both in kit form and pre-assembled. It featured a 1K memory (not a typo) expandable to a whopping 16K with a memory expansion pack that generally required a large rubber band to keep it attached. It had a ghastly membrane keyboard that featured the ability to type entire programming keywords with one keystroke. This was the gnat of early 1980's computers.

At the 1964 World's Fair in New York, the Mold-A-Rama machine was officially introduced and most of the molds were dinosaurs promoting the Sinclair Oil exhibit. These dino molds are larger than the current versions of the same figures and are made of a waxier material.

This is the Sinclair dinosaur. Sinclair is a gas station that they seem to have everywhere except Ohio. I love this dinosaur, and it is my dream to have one in my backyard one day.
Also, I would probably be hard pressed to not name my firstborn child "Sinclair." I realize it is messed up to like an oil company so much, but I think it is charming that their mascot is a dinosaur, because THAT IS WHERE OIL COMES FROM!! So awesome.

The Sinclair Cambridge pocket calculator. One of the first and one of the best looking calculators EVER. Well, after the Sinclair Executive, anyway.
My wife bought me this for my birthday in 1973. It cost £24.95 or about $37. That was more than a weeks wage!! Within less than a year they were selling for £4.95 or $7.50.
It has a red LED display and takes 4 AA batteries which needed replacing frequently. I still have it - and several others and it still works.
