this is our front door, lack of coat closet and one of our bookshelves. i really, really dislike the paneled walls but can't think of a rental-friendly solution for them.
For this I took my original Rippled Cats image and ran it through a Topaz filter called Simplify. I do love what can be done with fractal art and a few of my photo editing filters. ..Created with JWildfire 2.60 R2 and Topaz Simplify.

I was walking around the neighborhood, down this street that is kinda separated from the rest of the neighborhood because it winds down the riverside, when I came across a pile of old junk by the sidewalk. There where piles of books, so of course I moseyed on over to have a peek see. Most of the books were romance novels, but I did find this edition of Gregg’s Dictation Simplified, 2nd ed. © 1955. I had been thinking about shorthand lately because I have been using some symbols from the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) in my note taking at school, so I thought, “hey, this is a good find.” My friend James who moved to Colorado collects shorthand books, and I also think of him when I think of shorthand, so when I am taking notes I think of him. And now I am thinking he would think my find was pretty exciting.
