A very undetailed bas-relief of a devata, at the Chau Say Tevoda temple in the Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia.

An ancient site near Hidden Valley Ranch just north of Deming, NM, probably used for harvesting the nuts and fruits from the trees and shrubs that grow along a nearby arroyo. The rain god Tlaloc always has eye ornamentation. This, I suspect, is a reduction of the design to only the eyes and a lightning flash.

I usually prefer the really vividly colored lilies. However so many of them have been blooming that this one is like a refreshing gulp of milk after a plate of rich brownies.
It looks like it belongs in a victorian painting.
