kenapa saya menuliskan simple preweding? karena dari wardropes yang dipakai kedua calon mempelai ini tidak ada yang menonjol mereka seperti memakai pakaian sehari hari..
Simple beanie I made for Trev. Started with a garter stitch band, then worked 8 sets of decreases on the crown.

You guys, Chicago now has FOOD TRUCKS! And I'm so glad that one came down to Hyde Park. This is my sandwich from Simple Sandwich, who were on campus for a little while today. Now they've moved up to 53rd street. But anyway, I'm really glad they came to Hyde Park and I hope they sell some sandwiches here because, as Matt put it yesterday, they could've chosen to go to Lincoln Park or some place on the north side today, but they didn't. They came south, which not a lot of businesses do in Chicago. God it's nice to have a new option for lunch.
Anyway, the truck peeps were suuuuper friendly and my sandwich was delicious. This is the chicken chorizo, which has the obvious chicken and chorizo, but also roasted red peppers and arugula. It was tasty and the bread was hearty and stayed intact nicely for outdoor eating. My only complaint is just that it was a lot of bread compared to the quantity of veggies. I don't like a ton of meat on a sandwich, but I do like feeling like I'm getting at least as much vegetable matter as I am bread. But I have high hopes - overall this was really tasty.
our first swipe at making boxes.. pretty wood, got dropped in finishing, so we shant sell it. ah well. :)

We had a relaxing dip here one morning. Our Couchsurfing hosts Claire and Brad tipped us off to this unique spot. "The Secret Spot" is a not-so-well-known portion of the Kerosene Creek where a hot spring converges with a cold stream. You can literally pick what temperature you want by moving to different areas. Great in hot or cold weather, and it

For a "simple shape," the Gateway Arch has some interesting lines... This looks good on black, too.

Saturday 3 November 2012: Christmas is coming...
I can think of nothing better to do on a rainy, grey November morning than visiting a garden centre. However, instead of being greeted by a wide variety of potted plants to brighten up any home, I was confronted by dozens of excited children and mums and dads dashing through Santa's Grotto - a certain reminder that Christmas is on its way.
Well I, too, wandered aimlessly around enjoying the animated display of polar bears, eskimos and penguins (don't they belong at the South Pole?), the bright twinkling lights, the decorations, reindeer, donkey and nativity scene. But then I came across these.
Now last time I looked I didn't find any mention of meerkats being in the Christmas story or traditions... maybe the insurance industry is trying to change all that - after all, it worked for Coca-Cola!
