String of 100 lights to be hacked apart. They only cost 99 cents, so the price was right :-)

Had chance to make another quick card for the SSS Flickr group challenge before I go away next week. Used both dry embossing with the SSS Stitched Square dies and heat embossing on the Spring Flowers . More on my blog
The opti-isolator circuit. Everytime a light on the orginal simon goes on, it triggers this circuit to light up my new string of 36 lights. The original simon uses about 2.4 volts per light. I needed to run about 10 times that. I think the schematic is visible enough for you to copy if you like. :-)

I used various scraps of card and paper for the background. I used my border punch for the bottom of the card. I added ribbon and gems. The butterfly is from Inkadinka Clings. I coloured the butterfly with copics and added some kindy glitz.

The cougar base was coated in tea dye stain. Tim Holtz’s Natures Wonder leafs were stamped in Distress oxides after spritzing. I applied Aged Mahogany Distress Ink on a piece of cougar cardstock and cut the SimonSays thankful Die multiple die. The oval was cut using MFT Stitched oval Die. Thankful was stacked 3 times and clear embossed, then glued across the opening. An additional thankful was glued inside lining up with the one on front.
Front and back from a t-shirt from a NeXT based voice recognition named Simon Says. Dont ask me why I still have this junk

Another very simple tag using the Simon Says "Pile of Presents" die. Decided to die cut the round shape for a change. More on my blog
Had chance to do some watercolouring and chose this "Cosmos Background" stamp from Simon Says (one of my favourites) Made two cards with the stamped image (always a bonus). Adding these to the SSS Flickr challenge. Blogged here
i don't know what this was called but involved running around trying to touch lit up bumps on the wall. i thought it was a climbing wall at first, but it didn't look like it could handle hanging from them. i think a climbing wall "simon says" would be much cooler.
Simon Says is brought to you from the incredible mind of Simon. Religious leader. Saviour. God. Let him show you the joy he can bring to your lives as we follow four ungrateful followers through this parable of hubris, discontent and ingratitude.
After growing tired of his less than lavish lifestyle, 458 decides to rebel against Simon. Trying to convince his fellow believers, to join him on his journey to liberation. However due to their respective blind loyalty, apathy and stupidity, he struggles to get everyone on the same page. On top of their dysfunction, all the good things Simon has done for them and everything Simon has saved them from, keep popping up. Reminding them of how much worse off they would be if left to their own devices.
Will these four succeed in their impetuous tantrum, or will they remember… Simon is the world, and the world is Simon?
A comedy that blends depth and frivolity, Simon Says will make you laugh, rejoice and exclaim “I love you Simon.”
