"Nature is a temple in which living pillars

Sometimes let slip indistinct words;

There, man passes through forests of symbols

Which observe him with a familiar gaze.

Like longs echoes that, in the distance, blend

Into a shadowy and profound whole,

Vast as the night, vast as light,

Fragrances, colors, and sounds respond to one another.

There are fragrances as fresh as the flesh of children,

As sweet as oboes, as green as prairies,

-- And others, corrupt, rich, and triumphant,

With the expansiveness of infinite things,

Like amber, musk, benzoin, and incense,

And that sing the transports of the spirit and the senses."

Laissent parfois sortir de confuses paroles;

A quiet composition, very much in the line of August Sanders. The subject is taken directly, without any tilt nor decoration. The statue is the only element that breaks simmetry and is the centre of the sight.

The detail of cropcircle found in Pontecurone the 06/22/08 shows strange diagonal lines inside the circles, and the last circle on left side doesn't respect the simmetry, so..

Per me e' falso

I loved this famous building from the very first moment. It is a tribute to geometry and symmetry, but getting the tourists out of the composition may prove challenging.....just be patient!!

many thanks :)

An old building near Highline Park - 2011

I made this long exposure on the bank of a lake in the heart of Beijing, trying to catch the simmetry in the reflection of trees and lights into the water.

The legend tells of the chief mason engaged in the construction of the bridge that was very concerned about the delay in the same building. He then struck deals with the devil, which enabled him to finish the job in one night in exchange for the first soul who had crossed the bridge. The head mason accepted and the bridge was completed. The head mason, desperate for the imminence of the heavy tribute to the Devil, ran from the village priest, who heard the confession and devised a ruse: he made cross the bridge to a pig, so the devil tossed into the river.
