Un inicio no apto para cardíacos y un final de lo más ajustado. Con un gran ambiente en las gradas del Palau, el Barça Lassa y el Kristianstad han disputado un eléctrico, igualado y apasionante partido que ha finalizado con la primera victoria azulgrana en la EHF Velux Champions League 2015/16. Después de un gran gasto físico de ambos conjuntos, el acierto azulgrana en los últimos instantes han permitido sumar una importante y preciada victoria.
Un primer acto, sin pausa
El primer minuto del partido, con dos goles por lado, ha sido un avance de lo que se iba a producir durante los 29 minutos posteriores. El Barça Lassa, con un Wael Jallouz con el brazo caliente (cuatro goles), se ha topado frente a un rival que buscaba coger a la defensa azulgrana descolocada tras encajar gol y, en los primeros compases del partido, se lo ha encontrado. Corregido desde el banquillo por Xavi Pascual, curiosamente el Barça Lassa se ha marchado en el marcador, con una renta de cuatro goles, raíz de la exclusión de Kopljar el minuto 10. Ola Lindgren, entrenador del equipo sueco, ha decidido pedir un tiempo muerto y hacer un relevo en la portería.
Con el 10-6 en el electrónico, y después de ocho minutos de sequía anotadora, Tollbring ha culminado un contraataque para iniciar la remontada sueca. Del 10-7 se ha pasado al 10-10, lo que ha obligado al técnico catalán a pedir un tiempo muerto. Con la pausa y la charla técnica, Jallouz ha roto el parcial y, desde ese momento, el marcador ha sido igualado hasta el descanso. En los últimos cinco minutos, y gracias a dos goles consecutivos de Jicha, el Barça ha marchado de dos goles, pero, rápidamente, el Kristianstad ha respondido de la mano de Petterson. Al final, un gol de Syprzak por los azulgrana y uno de Björnsen, por los visitantes, han establecido el 17-16 con el que se llegó al descanso.
Tira y afloja constante
La salida de vestuarios azulgrana ha sido fulgurante. Dos paradas de Saric y dos goles de Jicha y uno de Sigurdsson han permitido al Barça coger aire en el marcador (20-16). Tres minutos después de la reanudación, los hombres de Xavi Pascual han conseguido la máxima diferencia del partido, 22-17, lo que ha obligado Ola Lindgren a detener el encuentro. Como ha ocurrido en la primera mitad, el tiempo muerto ha beneficiado a los visitantes, que en nada han recortado electrónico (23-21).
Cuando el partido estaba a punto de entrar en los últimos diez minutos, de nuevo el Barça ha subido una marcha más en ataque y ha disfrutado de cuatro goles de margen. Como si los 3.109 asistentes en el Palau Blaugrana vivieran un deja-vú, el Barça ha marchado en el marcador y el banquillo visitante ha parado el tiempo. Y, con dos goles de distancia (32-30) ha entrado en los últimos cinco minutos.
Los últimos instantes de partido han sido de lo más igualados. Con las dos aficiones animando y llevando sus respectivos equipos hacia la victoria, el marcador se ha movido con un gol de diferencia para el Barça hasta que, a falta de poco más de un minuto, un gol de Lazarov y un lanzamiento errado de Björnsen han establecido el 34-32 con el que se ha llegado al final del partido.

In the years I have worked with Timothy Carmody I have been frequently amazed and occasionally annoyed by his habitual production of really outstanding work. If "The Bridge and the River" sometimes betrays its influences—Charles Simic, James Baldwin, Frank O'Hara—it must be conceded that the poet's choices are admirable, and the raw materials are always his own. These are early poems, and in them Mr. Carmody experiments with imagery, narrative, and voice, but his experiments are never simply academic, and the results are both sophisticated and affecting. Place matters. Memory persists. The pleasures of the world, slow and hard-won, are worth savoring. The same can be said of this collection.
