Simba is twelve years old. Carol found him under a car at a near by Jack-in-the-Box parking lot. He could hardly walk or move his back legs. Carol made him part of the family and fed him plenty of goat’s milk. With in two weeks Simba was running and jumping off the front steps. Carol, of course, believes that the goat’s milk was the reason for his quick recovery.

Simba helped us shell purple hull cowpeas (left) and peanuts (right). He has been so helpful around the house!

This rock formation is known as Simba (lion) Rock. Our guide Samson said it's the inspiration for scenery in the Lion King movie.

We lost Simba in August. He saw her die. It's been a rough few months. He has now taken to sleeping in her old cat bed.
