Also called, "At the Window". Deep carved and etched glass. 20 x 20. "Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche's passage on 'The Lion's Roar'".... That should be the real title of this piece. Simba is "lion" in Swahili.
Eh, tubaabs, na ngeen def? Cate, Spencer, and Katie at the big field in Ouakam, where Cate and Katie live and where the Simba festival takes place. Notice the throng of people in the background.
These photos were taken last year at the old house. Simba was sitting on the table looking out at the snow and all the birds flying around the bird feeders. He would stay there from daylight to dark.
Ranulf, Simba & Bear on the couch sleeping, except for Simba who woke up hearing the camera. Notice Ranulf has alreadty developed his sleeping technique to an art.

the Simba Coffeehouse in Shanghai, out the back gate of ECNU. Jefferey, the owner, is probably the friendliest barrista i've met. He would sit with us for more time than he could probably spare to help us with our Chinese. at one point, unable to remember a character and only vaguely recalling the meaning, we were reduced to making sound effects and grand gestures. Eventually we figured it out.
