For such a young kitten he's looking very thoughtful here. But not for long - he's soon back chasing his own tail and other fine games :o) Liden, Swindon, Wiltshire, UK. 2016-11-02.
I live in a village, but don't know very many people outside my road. I know their cats though! I hadn't seen this beautiful silver tabby for quite a while, so I was delighted to bump into him a couple of evenings ago, and even more delighted that I had a camera in my hand at the time. I'm not so sure he felt the same ... :))
Calvin laying in my lap. There was just a little sun coming in the blinds and he was trying to make the most of it...
Here is the color version... Calvin Portrait in Color
My 3 cats up on the counter...waiting. The blur on the bottom of the photo is the out of focus top of my sofa. I was trying to shoot undercover so they wouldn't move.

Pebbles, our Silver Tabby.
One of our four cats, she has the sweetest nature of any cat I've ever been owned by.

Day 129 in my 2007 day by day series.
Cats truly do have an attitude. I am in front of him calling his name, saying "kitty kitty", etc., and he is looking away as if I am not even there. Yet he remained completely statuesque in his posture. Thankful for the small things.

"Right Mrs Mouse, have a good look at the suspects and if the one that ate your children is there......."
Going through some of my archives and uploading stuff from a while ago. :) Can you see why we named her Tesla? ;)
His attention is caught by something on the window, and I managed to get his reflection by sheer fluke in this shot
Set against the sky on a rooftop, little feral Silver Tabby enjoys a dry moment before the rains come.

We hadn't taken any photos of the cats for a long time, so I decided to set up a couple of flashes out in the garden on a nice evening. then drag each of the cats out for their chance of fame under the spot light! First up was Jarvis, now 3 1/2 years old & 19lb 6oz, he was quite taken by the lights until one blew over & frightened him (frightened me too as I thought my flash would have smashed as it hit the deck!).
So close to going out on the balcony, but no go.

I swear I have the most awesome pets in the world. And yes, they do pose for me. Though this guy actually lays around like this a lot. He just happened to stay put until I was done shooting.

When I came back to photograph the controller, Rachael was already sitting there.
