Teddy's now almost 6 months old and has outgrown his 'starter' scratch post! We got him a new activity centre multi-level post yesterday and here he is surveying his kingdom from the highest platform :o) Liden, Swindon, Wiltshire, UK. 2017-01-15.
Siamese tomcat 7 month
* Kop: wigvormig en dient in het ideale geval samen met de grote, schuingeplaatste oren een perfecte gelijkzijdige driehoek te vormen. De kin mag niet al te geprononceerd zijn, maar ook zeker niet terugwijken. Lange neus, bij voorkeur met een Romeins profiel, maar in elk geval zonder inkeping vloeiend doorlopend in het schedeldak.
* Ogen: amandelvormig, zuiver donkerblauw en staan iets schuin geplaatst.
* Oren: groot, schuingeplaatst.
* Lichaam: elegante en lenige bouw. Het sierlijke lichaam is lang, slank en gespierd, het mag nergens grofheid vertonen. De achterhand behoort hoger te zijn dan de voorhand. De poten zijn slank en lang, de voetjes ovaal.
* Staart: lang en dun en loopt spits toe als een zweep.
* Vacht: zijdezacht en kort en fijn van structuur. Betrekkelijk weinig ondervacht.
* Kleur: Kittens worden geheel wit geboren. Later krijgen ze hun gekleurde points. Oorspronkelijke kleuren zijn: seal-, blue-, chocolate- en lilacpoint, ze zijn er in tortie en tortietabby. Cinnamon-, fawn-, smoke-, silvertabby- en bi/tricolourpoint.
The cats have been very poorly with what we believe to be cat flu. All eight of them are ill to varying degrees, the least affected (so far) are Willie & Alfie, they have a mild case with sneezing & coughing but not feeling too ill with it.
The Maine coons have been quite badly affected but are improving steadily now. Daisy & Mable are very ill at the moment as they were the last two to succumb to the illness. It has been very worrying for us as we feared we could lose some or all the cats, if they weren't vaccinated I believe they would all most probably have died.
As with most viral diseases there are many mutations of the virus, so vaccination can not guarantee them not getting the "flu".
We are fairly certain Otto brought the "flu" into the home following a visit to the vets to be neutered, Five days later he became ill, then after a further six days the other cats started with it.
It has been very strange not to have them getting into mischief over the past couple of weeks and we hope to see them back to health in the near future.
(((Yawn))) Oh the sights I see as I shut things down to go to bed. Only a kitty, in a basket, on top of the mail, on the counter, in the kitchen. Another normal night at my house I suppose.

Who could resist the pleading eyes of the local stray...? Not me (I fed him some nice rump steak)... now he's set up camp out my back yard, thank goodness he's been neutered...
We'll see, if he doesn't go away we may have a new cat :-/ I prefer to choose my cats but they seem to choose me!
Ebony, Molly, Morsel, Medit, Church and Dusty... six of my fur-sharks chillin' on my bed... Molly appears to have passed out sitting up LOL
This is another of my friend's late cats - another silver tabby who had just been in a show when this was taken! They are posh cats at her house!
The new members of our familiy. Just a little series of pics because they give us such funny moments.
