Taken during completely silence

Good morning flickr!

This shot I had already upload few weeks ago in colour.

I post the mono version now, because I was invited to participate in the next edition of a Travel Photography Competion and for myself I think the mono works as well damn good!

Don't know with witch I have to go?! If it's possible to choose anyway?

Thanks Hitch for the invitation!!!

Thanks everyone for feedback comment and fav.

~best regards friends~

Have a pleasant day everyone!

Although the sun didnt appear much during sunset the reflections of the lights over Edinburgh gave a nice hue during the blue hour.

Gentle bands of emerald Auroral light arc over the red autumn mountains of the Yukon River valley, viewed from atop the Midnight Sun Dome, above Dawson City, Yukon on the night of September 15. It was a lovely night for Aurora watching, calm, warm and silent, the vista floodlit by by the luminous rays of the full moon.

Later, the Northern Lights exploded in wild bursts of sky-spanning activity. This was a rare pleasure for me, an unusual opportunity to photograph the glorious Aurora before the land is cloaked in snow.

We sit silently and watch the world around us.

This has taken a lifetime to learn.

For silence is pure....

It draws people together because only those who are comfortable with each other can sit without speaking.

This is the great paradox.

Angeredsbron, Göteborg, Sweden, march 2015.

Along the winding path we tread, Through grasses tall and wildflowers spread, A wooden fence post stands sentinel true, As if whispering secrets to the morning dew.

The open field, a canvas vast, Scattered trees like memories cast, And grazing souls—perhaps cows or kin— Find solace here, where the sky begins.

Cumulus clouds, like dreams untold, Painted in shades of silver and gold, They march across the heavens high, Guiding our steps as time slips by.

In black and white, this tale unfolds, A silent march through stories old, Where nostalgia blooms and shadows dance, In this timeless landscape’s sweet romance.

This guy was in this Zen like state from the moment we got it till the moment we got out.

I don't think he even shifted a little during that time.

Beautiful holiday decorations from MudHoney, [ARIA], and Pixel Mode

Last year, Pixel Mode offered the beautiful Naughty or Nice Sleigh. I thought I'd bring in out of the barn, dust it off and give it center stage.

So I haven’t been able to bring myself to tear down Epherna 1 yet, but I still wanted to build. Luckily, the Small Starfighter Building Contest popped up.This is my 14x14x6.

Since it’s a small fighter, I wanted to build a craft that had the appearance of something fast. My own sense of irony made me decide to throw six cannons on it. My annoying sense of balance made me want to add larger engines than it would need to offset the cannons firing off in a 0-gravity environment and sending the ship into a flat spin. It would be like losing Goose all over again. (It was Iceman’s fault, by the way. If he wasn’t going to take the shot, he should have bugged out…but I digress). I imagine this fighter to show up with a swarm and obliterate larger craft with a series of quick, hard-to-track attacks, which is why I named it the Silent Strike.

I’m particularly pleased with how the core of the ship turned out. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the oval windscreen tucked inside the larger white windscreen on another ship, but I can’t for the life of me remember where I saw it. If you did this, and I commented or liked your work, you’re probably to blame for this cockpit design, and I thank you and give you full credit for the idea.

If you didn’t, then it was my idea and you can’t have it.

Where have you been,

And what have you done?

I've been under the ground

Eating prayers from this old book I found

Under the ground

Saving it up, and spending it all
