Sigourney Weaver (born Susan Alexandra Weaver; October 8, 1949) is an American actress arguably best known for her role as Ellen Ripley in Ridley Scott's Alien (1979), Aliens (1986), directed by James Cameron, and two other sequels in the "Alien" series, a role for which she has received worldwide recognition. She is also known for her roles as Dana Barrett in the Ghostbusters films, Dian Fossey in Gorillas in the Mist, Janey Carver in The Ice Storm, Max Conners in Heartbreakers (2001), Warden Walker in Holes (2003), and Dr. Grace Augustine in Avatar (2009).
Weaver is also a three-time Academy Award nominee for her performances in Aliens (1986), Gorillas in the Mist (1988), and Working Girl (1988) winning Golden Globe Awards in the latter two films.[1] She has been called 'The Sci-Fi Queen' by many on account of her many science fiction and fantasy films.

Elizabeth Inglis (10 July 1913 - 25 August 2007) was a British actress, known for her role in The Letter opposite Bette Davis.
Inglis was born Desiree Mary Lucy Hawkins[1] in Colchester, England. Her screen debut was in the 1934 film, Borrowed Clothes. She then went on to take a small part in the 1935 classic Alfred Hitchcock film, The 39 Steps as Hilary Jordan. She also appeared in the 1939 British telefilm version of Gaslight before taking on the role of Adele Ainsworth in The Letter in 1940 which marked the zenith of her film career. By this time she was appearing under the pseudonym/stage name, 'Elizabeth Earl'.
In 1942, she married Sylvester "Pat" Weaver. Weaver was an American radio advertising executive, who became president of NBC between 1953 and 1955. He was credited with helping to reshape broadcasting during the 1940s and 1950s as television overtook radio as America's dominant form of home entertainment. After marrying Weaver, Inglis retired from acting altogether. The couple had two children, one of whom is actress Sigourney Weaver

Call me crazy, but I think Sigourney Weaver had much better onscreen chemistry with Rick Moranis than she did with Bill Murray in "Ghostbusters". And who better to play Jack Kirby's ultimate "power couple"?
They got the height thing right: just don't lose the glasses, Rick (but forget wearing a toque; it works against the high collar). And they would have to keep Barda's battle helmet, which looks like it could pick up Direct TV with those yellow "tuning fork sticker-outer thingies" on the sides. I'm guessing she bought it at "Galactus's House of Style".
On the other hand, some cynics may feel Rick might be better as their manager/sidekick Oberon, but I digress.
Come to think of it, they never really explained who the father of her baby in "Ghostbusters 2" was.
"I am the Keymaster", indeed...

One of my favorite parts on TGMR. The Alien part were it jumps out of the ceiling still gives me the creeps. Although I am sure many quests/young kids have no idea about Aliens, I still think it fits well in the TGMR. WDI did such a great job with the detail and feel of the scene.
